CPM ideology to be studied in school curriculum early

July 9, 2009

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 July 2009: The Education Ministry may revert to introducing the detailed history of the Communist Party of Malaya (CPM)’s ideology in the lower secondary education curriculum, said deputy Education minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi.

He said from 2003, the history of CPM was not explained in detail at the lower secondary level (Form 3 and below), compared with what was taught in the upper secondary level.

“This was because individuals, politicians and some authorities had wanted the ministry to reduce the focus on subjects related to CPM in history books at schools,” Mohd Puad said, in answering a question by Senator Datuk Idris Buang in Dewan Negara here today.

Idris had wanted to know if history subjects would provide detailed and correct information on Chin Peng and CPM.

Mohd Puad said the curriculum should include titles like the background and ideology of CPM that shunned democracy and the constitutional monarchy.

“Information and message related to CPM is taught in Form 3. The contents discussed the ideology of CPM, which was based on communism and not suitable to be practised by Malaysians, no matter who the leader was,” he said. — Bernama

Firstly, communism is not evil; it depends on the leader. Saddam Hussein wasn’t a communist and look at what he has done. Osama wasn’t a communist but an extremist who has also done so much wicked stuff. Is a communist far worse than a suicide bomber or vice versa?

If you need to read more about CPM and communism and the rest of its idealogy, you don’t have to depend on our government to teach you. Teach yourself via Wikipedia. Our government propaganda is questionable at all times.

If you want to know more about Information and Propaganda Ministry during Hitler’s time, you can find out from Wikipedia too. And have a look at the similarity.

Second World War, how many people in our land killed or massacred or tortured by Japanese occupation soldiers. How many Japanese companies in Malaysia in 2009? Be honest with ourselves, don`t dig up the past. It`s forgiven and let go. Let`s move forward, our destiny is in the future.
