BN’s slim state victories

By Refsa

June 3, 2013

PAKATAN RAKYAT (PR) won only three states in the recently-concluded general election known as GE13, compared to the five it won in the 2008 elections. The Barisan Nasional (BN) secured more states this time around, winning back Kedah and Perak from the PR. In spite of this, Refsa’s analysis demonstrates that for the most part, the BN won these states by minority votes and slim margins.
