BN reps lodge report against Sivakumar

May 14, 2009

IPOH, 14 May 2009: Twenty-seven Perak state assemblypersons from the Barisan Nasional (BN) together with three Independent assemblypersons today lodged police reports against Pakatan Rakyat speaker V Sivakumar for abuse of power.

The alleged that Sivakumar abused his power with regard to the chaos that occurred during the assembly sitting on 7 May.

The assemblypersons were all taken by a state government bus to the Sungai Senam Police Station, here at 2.15 pm to lodge their reports.

Perak state executive councillor Datuk Hamidah Osman, who lodged a report against Sivakumar yesterday, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir was expected to lodge a similar report tomorrow.

Sivakumar himself had lodged a police report on 7 May on what happened during the sitting. He also lodged a report today over claims that a firearm was brought into the state assembly sitting.

Ipoh OCPD Azisman Alias, when contacted, confirmed receiving the reports but declined further comment. — Bernama

Copycats! At least Sivakumar has a valid reason for lodging a report (though I doubt the police would act on his report).

Anybody viewing YouTube on this matter can see clearly who the real abusers are. What a pity the kampung folk, who form the bedrock of Umno supporters cannot view the same pictures I viewed, WITH DISGUST, at how all the apparatus of state and a gun, and a pepper spray, were brought to threaten, inflict physical violence and intimidate one small little Indian [Malaysian] speaker, the first-ever in this country. Shame on you Umno-BN.

I personally find this act very childish. They should be more mature. You think the police have so much time to review all these no-case reports? The BN is diverting police resources from reducing the crime rates. Main pasir?

I think Sivakumar made it clear that the rights and privileges committee made the decision to banish the pretender and his six excos from the assembly. Sivakumar, in his capacity as the chair[person] of the said committee, only read out the judgement.

We all know that BN was barking up the wrong tree when it took Sivakumar to court. Why are they lodging police reports again?

From what I am told, the speaker cannot be taken to court and by doing so the Malaysian police and also the Malaysian justice system have become the laughing stock of the world.

Enough of this sandiwara. Let’s go for fresh elections.

BN, please stop your wayang kulit.

Only clowns like police and BN supporters will believe in you.

I won’t be suprised if Police call Sivakumar for investigation and at the same time the police will not do anything to verify Sivakumar’s report on guns in assembly hall.

That’s why, I just cant stand all these BN morons including the illegal Zambry.

I’m praying so hard that an election will be called ASAP, so that we Perakians will kick out BN forever from Perak.

I hope our Sultan will be on our side, which is the rakyat’s.
