Zambry dismisses talk of two reps returning to PKR

July 8, 2009

IPOH, 8 July 2009: Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir today dismissed talk that independent assemblypersons Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi and Capt (Rtd) Osman Jailu were contemplating returning to Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).

“I hope the people will not be hoodwinked by the [political] game of certain quarters which try to portray that Perak is politically unstable,” he told reporters after chairing the weekly meeting of the state executive council.

Zambry said the state government had good relations with Jamaluddin (Behrang) and Osman (Changkat Jering), who had declared their support for the Barisan Nasional (BN) after becoming independent assemblypersons.

He was asked to comment on recent talk that Jamaluddin and Osman were likely to return to PKR as they were dissatisfied with the BN for having failed to keep to its promises to the duo, such as in appointing them as state executive councillors. — Bernama

Just rumour? Then [why] this MB of three frogs needs to clarify in the media? So, how many times he will have to do the same in the coming three-plus years? He is really a joker…..
