According to your article, the survey question was: How strongly do you trust or distrust the mainstream media in terms of its reporting on current and political news? (Source: Merdeka Center)

The answer to this question is 49% distrust vs 46% trust. This means that both sides are almost equally weighted. 

More accurate headline would be &quot;Malaysian youth split over trustworthiness of mainstream media&quot;.</description>
