Mohd Osman denies quitting in police report

SHAH ALAM, 2 Feb 2009: Shah Alam police chief ACP Nor Azam Jamaluddin today confirmed receiving a police report lodged by a representative of Changkat Jering state assemblyperson Mohd Osman Jailu.

The report lodged by Mohd Farizal Umar also stated that Mohd Osman of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) had denied resigning as Changkat Jering state representative.

It was lodged at Shah Alam police headquarters in Section 11 at 1.30am today, he told Bernama here today.

The status of Mohd Osman and Behrang state assemblyperson Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (PKR) was put into doubt when Perak state assembly speaker V Sivakumar said yesterday they had sent their resignation letters.

Mohd Osman and Jamaluddin had since denied Sivakumar’s statement calling it a blatant lie. — Bernama
