That's the difference between him and Anwar. Anwar didn't flinch, even with impending imprisonment. Anwar is now witnessing the fruits of his veracious and courageous stand. His ability to hold together a coalition first conceived by Ku Li might now have the aid of the internet and a better informed public. But to underestimate his sense of purpose, for those who do, is a huge mistake. They've thrown the book at him...but he's still standing.
