Karpal hands recording of CJ’s speech on corruption to Agong

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Feb 2009: DAP chairmanperson Karpal Singh today submitted an audio recording of Chief Justice Tan Sri Zaki Azmi’s speech on corruption, to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.

Karpal arrived at Istana Negara and handed an audio recording, which was addressed to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, to an Istana officer.

Karpal said it was an audio recording of Zaki’s speech, recorded at a convention in Kuching, Sarawak in November 2008.

Zaki, who spoke at the panel on “Integrity, the Catalyst for Sustainable Development” at the national integrity convention in Kuching, was alleged to have mentioned the he personally knew two corrupt judges. — Bernama

    Again MACC becomes deaf despite this issue repeated and challenged by Karpal through the media (excluded Utusan) a few months ago.

    This makes people understand that the MACC carries out their duties base on their “own way or style”.
