We had originally reported that Sze Ning became aware of the plight of indigenous communities affected by oil palm estates while she was a Wild Asia research assistant.

While Sze Ning was a research assistant with Wild Asia for several years, she actually first came across the issue as an intern in Centre for Orang Asli Concerns.
