Appeals Court refers to Fed Court in Shamala case

PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has referred five questions pertaining to the Federal Constitution to the Federal Court today.

The Court of Appeal were hearing five appeals pertaining the custody battle and conversion of the children of S Shamala and Dr M Jeyaganesh.

No costs were awarded.

“The five appeals were stayed until the questions are answered,” said appeals hearing chairperson Datuk Abdul Hamid Embong.
